Role Overview

Arcadis is a leading global consultancy delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets. We are seeking a talented Graduate Geotechnical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-profile projects in the UK and globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the delivery of foundation, retaining wall, ground improvement, and earthworks designs
  • Undertake desk studies, specify and scope intrusive ground investigations, produce interpretive reports, geotechnical designs, and recommendations for geotechnical design solutions
  • Collaborate with our team to develop innovative digital tools for producing accurate ground models and analyzing geotechnical problems and design development
Requirements
  • Accepted degrees: BEng, BSc, MEng, or MSc in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering, Engineering Geology, or related discipline
  • Graduating in or having recently graduated with at least a 2:2 in a relevant master's or bachelor's degree
  • Demonstrate typical Arcadian skills including Resilience, Creativity, Analytical Thinking, and being a Team Player
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to use technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders
  • Willing to travel and stay away from home when required (where possible we embrace virtual working)
