We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Consultant to join our team at Ashford & St. Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Acute Medicine service, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, providing clinical leadership, and contributing to the development of our department.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver clinical, educational, and managerial services of the highest professional standard at Consultant Level to the Department
- Work with existing consultants and the multi-disciplinary team to provide a high-quality, well-led service for patients
- Deliver direct clinical care to patients, assisting clinical decision-making and sharing equally in the workload
- Provide consultant cover in ward rounds, oversight of assessment areas, and multi-disciplinary team meetings
- Engage fully with the care of patients outside the department and provide a prompt opinion on request from consultant colleagues in other specialties
