An exciting opportunity has arisen within the EKC Group for a Deputy Head of Inclusive Learning (Support) at EKC Canterbury College.


As the Deputy Head of Inclusive Learning (Support), you will be responsible for developing an inclusive learning support service that promotes independence for learners with additional needs, taking charge of the day-to-day management of the provision.


Your role will involve ensuring that the support is integral to the curriculum offer and contributes to the success and progression of learners.


You will be responsible for the line management of the Inclusive Learning Team Leaders and SEND Officers and be involved in the delivery and development of in-service staff training.


We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative Deputy Head of Inclusive Learning to support the Head of Inclusive Learning in providing for a diverse range of students with a variety of special educational needs.


A good understanding of Educational and Health Care Plan management is essential. Your ability to maximise available resources effectively and support the Inclusive Learning team in providing excellent curriculum support is also required.
