Senior Town Planner Position

Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Town Planner to join their Ipswich-based team. As a key member of the planning team, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality planning services to clients across various sectors, including housing, renewable energy, and infrastructure projects.
">- Estimated Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the planning process, with a proven track record of achieving planning consents for complex projects. A Chartered Member of the RTPI (or working towards) and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead on planning applications, preparing and submitting documents to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and local authorities
• Conduct site visits and gather information to inform planning applications
