Multimedia Technical Support Position

In this vital role, you will ensure the smooth operation of programs and events at our center. You will maintain a professional environment for clients and staff during events and off-hours, collaborating closely with stakeholders and the Operations Manager to guarantee proper coverage and scheduling.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Offer on-site technical support for visitors and executive-level events, including creating production plans, setting up and testing equipment, and operating equipment during the event.
  • Provide expert support and communication to executive-level clients, utilizing strong interpersonal skills to resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Conduct daily inspections and regular maintenance of hardware and software for our internal platform, identifying and resolving any network problems that may impact applications.
  • Utilize remote access to Mac, Linux, and Windows systems, navigating file systems on remote machines via SSH and VNC.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot AV systems, providing training and technical support to users as needed.
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience working in video conferencing, video production, or post-production, with knowledge of G-Suite, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and WebEx.
  • Familiarity with computer terminals and commands, as well as experience with video displays and content management systems.
  • Formal education in Electronics or a related field is preferred, with external training certifications such as AMX Intro to Networking for AV Professionals and Crestron Professional Installation also highly valued.
