We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Fairmead Managed Services LTD. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for providing accurate cost estimates, conducting quantity take-offs, and identifying potential cost-saving measures.

Responsibilities:

  • Cost Analysis: Analyse project drawings and specifications to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
  • Contract Review: Collaborate with the project team to review and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Project Reporting: Provide regular reports to project stakeholders on project costs, variations, and changes.
  • Tender Preparation: Assist in the preparation of tender documents and participate in the tendering process.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and building regulations.
  • Proficiency in quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and budgeting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Average Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum
