Graduate Civil Engineer

We are seeking a talented Graduate Civil Engineer to join our team at CRS Professionals (UK) Ltd. As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients in the Civil, Structural, Geo-environmental, and Transportation sectors.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct feasibility studies and resolve planning conditions, including drainage feasibility and highways considerations.
  • Perform flood risk assessments and detailed drawings and calculations for adoptable highways and drainage.
  • Prepare 3D ground models for volume calculations, cut and fill exercises, and vertical road profiles.
  • Liaise with clients and external agencies, including the Environment Agency, Local Highway Authorities, and Water Authorities.
  • Design work on projects for water and wastewater authorities.
  • Represent the company at meetings, public exhibitions, planning committees, and public inquiries as required.
  • Contribute to project management and control suitable projects.
  • Support the training and professional development of team members.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience and degree in an appropriate built environment discipline.
  • Working towards membership of the Institution of Civil Engineers or similar learned society/professional body.
  • Excellent technical skills, including knowledge of FRAs, Suds, and Pre-Planning Advice.
  • Experience with drainage and highway design and detailing to S38, S278, and S104 agreements.
  • Proficiency in MicroDrainage WinDES, Tuflow, and HECRAS.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
