About the Role

Our client, a leading provider of train door solutions, is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join their team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for traveling to various sites across the country to repair, upgrade, and maintain train doors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend customer premises to repair and maintain train door systems.
  • Conduct training and instruction at customer sites to ensure effective use of equipment.
  • Identify and troubleshoot malfunctions, suggesting corrective measures and implementing preventative maintenance.
  • Process replacement and repair orders in conjunction with the administrative team.
  • Prepare work reports and document assembly processes and progress.
  • Provide technical support and execute agreed services from service contracts.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of train door systems and the ability to work independently. You will also need to be able to travel frequently and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
