Job Title: Early Years Worker

Colin Sure Start is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Worker to join our team. As an Early Years Worker, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, stimulating, and varied programme of play and learning opportunities for children participating in our Early Years Services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe and welcoming environment for children, promoting their holistic development and well-being.
  • Plan and deliver group-based programmes with parents and children, targeting specific learning needs and promoting parental involvement.
  • Develop supportive relationships with parents/carers, encouraging their participation in the project and conducting home visits when required.
  • Ensure good standards of hygiene and safety, adhering to relevant health and safety rules and guidelines.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information relating to children and families, complying with Sure Start policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • NVQ III in Early Years Care and Education or equivalent.
  • A minimum of one year's experience working with young children and families.
  • Experience planning and delivering group-based programmes with parents and children.
