Trainee Field Engineer (Water Industry)

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Trainee Field Engineer in the Water Industry. As a Trainee Field Engineer, you will play a key role in installing and maintaining sensors and monitoring equipment on the Wastewater network.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Install and maintain sensors and monitoring equipment on the Wastewater network
  2. Work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and clients
  4. Provide excellent customer service and support
  5. Contribute to the development and implementation of new processes and procedures

Requirements:
  1. Full driving licence essential
  2. No prior experience necessary, as all training will be provided
  3. Previous electrical or mechanical experience an advantage
  4. Relevant academic qualifications an advantage, e.g. BTEC Engineering or BTEC Electrical
  5. Strong work ethic and desire to learn quickly during training
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  7. Flexibility to accommodate business needs

What We Offer:
  1. A competitive starting salary of £26,400pa
  2. Salaries increased every 6 months during training, quickly rising to £30,800pa
  3. Salaries will then continue to rise based on progression and performance
  4. A fully expensed company vehicle and fuel card
  5. Full training and certifications provided as part of the role
  6. Excellent prospects in a vital industry
  7. All necessary tools, uniforms, and equipment provided
  8. 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
