Technical Training Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineering Trainer to deliver high-quality training experiences to engineering apprentices. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background and a minimum of 5 years industry experience, preferably in a Machining/Workshop environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical training in engineering subjects, both face-to-face and online, to small groups of learners. They will also design and develop training courses, programmes and curriculum, and manage all physical learning resources and teaching spaces to ensure effective training and assessment within guided learning hours.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical training in engineering subjects
  • Designing and developing training courses and programmes
  • Managing learning resources and teaching spaces
  • Developing new teaching methods and improving technical training offerings

The successful candidate will be customer and quality-focused, with strong interpersonal skills, and will hold recognized training/teaching qualifications and internal quality assurance qualifications.
