Our Bioresources team has an exciting opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Wanlip, Leicester area.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and breakdown maintenance on a wide range of mechanical Bioresources assets across multiple sites.

You will have sound diagnostic and problem-solving skills, and be able to support your colleagues in fixing issues before they affect our customers.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out fault diagnostics and repairs on mechanical Bioresources assets
  • Completing multi-skill electrical training
  • Supporting Severn Trent's drive to improve safety standards
  • Ensuring all activities are performed in a safe and diligent manner
  • Participating in a standby rota to provide flexibility

You will also have the opportunity to work with process control systems and industrial equipment, and contribute to the maintenance of our assets to ensure they are running efficiently and effectively.

We welcome applicants who have a time served apprenticeship and experience in fault finding of mechanical wastewater and anaerobic digestion assets.

A basic knowledge of industrial electrical installation requirements and an NVQ level in mechanical qualification would be beneficial for this role.

As this role involves travel, a Full UK Driving License is required.
