About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Specialist to join our team at Integrated Project Services. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic procurement plans to support our business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders to ensure seamless procurement processes.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and negotiate contracts.
  • Manage procurement budgets and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement procurement strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Provide procurement support and guidance to project teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in procurement or a related field, with a strong understanding of procurement principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of procurement software and systems, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MCIPS or equivalent certification in procurement or a related field.
  • Experience working in a similar role within the construction or engineering industry.
  • Knowledge of lean procurement principles and practices.
