Mechanical Fitter Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team at Trant Engineering Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical systems in our water treatment facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems, including pumps, valves, and motors.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating moving parts and checking fluid levels.
- Identify and report any defects or malfunctions in mechanical systems.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth operation of water treatment facilities.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications and experience in mechanical fitting or a related field.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and their operation.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Working Environment:
The successful candidate will be based in the Wessex Water region, with the initial focus on the Bournemouth/Dorset area. The role will involve working on various water treatment upgrade projects, with opportunities for professional development and growth.
