Senior Management Accountant Opportunity

We are partnering with a high growth business near Guildford to recruit a Senior Management Accountant to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts, including clear commentary explaining variances, and working with internal stakeholders to prepare annual budgets. They will also perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, prepare monthly cash forecasts, and drive internal controls.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of standard methodologies in Accounting and Financial Systems, including Dynamics 365, and experience within the manufacturing and/or related sector. They will also have full month-end proficiency and exposure to statutory reporting and accounting in a previous or current role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts with clear commentary
  • Work with internal stakeholders to prepare annual budgets
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly cash forecasts
  • Drive internal controls

Requirements:

  • ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified
  • Adept with FRS 102
  • Experience within the manufacturing and/or related sector
  • Full month-end proficiency
  • Exposure to statutory reporting and accounting
  • Strong understanding of standard methodologies in Accounting and Financial Systems
