Job Title: Registered Care Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Care Manager with a passion for care to lead our team at our Down and Lisburn office, ensuring the highest quality of care for our clients while being accountable for the growth of our people and the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the overall growth of the business, overseeing the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care to all clients.
  • Ensure compliance with RQIA regulations and other relevant legislation, developing and implementing care plans that meet the individual needs of clients.
  • Recruit, train, and manage care staff, fostering a positive and supportive team environment.
  • Conduct regular staff supervisions and appraisals to maintain high performance standards, liaising with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and continuity of care.
  • Network in the local community to raise awareness of the service and build great relationships, monitoring and managing budgets to ensure financial efficiency without compromising on care quality.
  • Lead by example, promoting a culture of excellence, respect, and compassion within the team, handling any complaints or incidents, ensuring they are resolved promptly and effectively.
  • Continuously assess and improve service delivery, implementing best practices and innovations in care, embracing expanding into new services to ensure we can continue to provide personalised care to clients now and in the future as their needs may change.
  • Promote a positive culture in line with the Home Instead ethos and values.
Requirements:
  • Necessary: Qualification in Level 5 Diploma Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care (Adult Management) Northern Ireland.
  • Strong knowledge of RQIA regulations and other relevant legislation.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
  • Experience in leading a team to provide quality, domiciliary care services.
  • Strong influencing skills and the ability to build fantastic working relationships.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality care.
  • Ability to demonstrate achievement of business growth targets and is commercially aware.
  • Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Drive and motivation to take on a broad role and develop our care services.
  • Flexibility to meet the demands of the business, including participating in an on-call rota.
