We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Cladding Project Manager to join our team in London. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing complex cladding remediation projects, ensuring fire safety risk is effectively addressed, and delivering high-quality results within scope, focusing on safety, quality, budget, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities- Manage project budget control and financial delivery of cladding remediation projects.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors, freeholders, and management companies to ensure delivery of a safe, fair, and proportionate remedial solution.
- Negotiate contracts and scopes with design teams, contractors, freeholders, and management companies.
- Stay up-to-date with political, regulatory, industry-related, and environmental developments that may impact project delivery and priorities.
- Coordinate media management through internal/corporate communications.
- Identify and manage risks, ensuring timely action to deliver projects.
- Define roles and responsibilities across all consultants and contractors to ensure project objectives are met.
- Lead various cladding remediation projects, ensuring fire safety risk is effectively addressed before, during, and after remedial works.
- Build strong relationships with Technical PMs, Commercial teams, and Production teams to ensure consistent construction quality and approach.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation, procedures, and best practices, including FRAEW and EWS1 assessment process and applicable standards for cladding remediation projects.
- Ensure CDM/EMS procedures are followed on all projects.
- Effectively manage each project to achieve efficient, comprehensive, safe, and proportionate remediation of buildings within scope.
- Degree or professional qualification in property, development, construction, or a related field (or equivalent work experience and a clear plan for achieving the necessary qualifications).
- Proven track record within the construction industry, with experience gained in working with developers, contractors, and other related partners.
- Strong understanding of residential construction, with a proven track record of delivering high-profile, complex construction projects to time, cost, and quality standards.
- Proven track record of managing stakeholder relationships, including local authorities, landowners, developers, and contractors.
- High standard of financial literacy & analytical skills.
- Planning and organisation skills.
- Able to drive and travel in and around London as required.
