Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify, measure, analyze, monitor, and report on risk and control relevant business processes.
  • Understand business operations processes and identify gaps and define solutions.
  • Apply judgment to support process owners in improving their control environment by highlighting weaknesses in control design or operating effectiveness.
  • Provide maintenance for InvesTech specific risk and control procedures and controls.
  • Support the training and education across InvesTech on risk management standards and processes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement visualization efforts through Tableau, risk data sharing, and other risk infrastructure build-out.
  • Understand project controls and define project criteria.
  • Document and clarify requirements, specifications of processes, and recommend solutions.
  • Maintain and optimize risk metrics across business activities to enhance efficiencies and speed for risk-based decision making.
  • Data aggregation and analysis through the leverage and design of business risk and control data such as incident, issue, process exception, KRI, KPI information for risk and business decision purposes.

Qualifications

  • 3 years or more of work experience in either operations or risk-related roles within financial services or ideally asset management.
  • 3 years or more of experience in project or process management with data affinity.
  • Ability and affinity to move between detail-oriented and big-picture frameworks.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle multiple competing tasks.
  • A strong team player, with the ability to work in collaboration across teams.
  • Intellectual curiosity and interest to learn independently and from peers.
