We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Admissions Manager to join our team at Spire Healthcare Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the admissions process, ensuring seamless patient flow, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of administrators to drive operational performance and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Adhere to HR policies and procedures, including managing sickness, annual leave, and underperformance management
- Conduct regular 1-2-1 sessions and feedback sessions with team members, setting clear expectations and goals
- Ensure timely management of administrative tasks, including bookings, pre-op assessments, and admissions
- Process KPIs weekly and identify areas for improvement to enhance operational efficiency
- Provide data and insights to stakeholders, including the Patient Admissions Manager, Director of Shared Services, and Senior Management Team
- Attend departmental meetings and stay up-to-date on hospital and support centre matters related to patient administration
- Previous managerial or team leader experience is essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
- Ability to promote a culture of continuous improvement and excellence
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including occasional Saturdays
