Mechanical & Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a talented Mechanical & Electrical Engineer to join our team on a summer placement. As a key member of our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks team, you will be responsible for assisting in the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the design and development of mechanical & electrical systems for projects.
- Support the preparation of detailed drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.
As a Mechanical & Electrical Engineer on our summer placement programme, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in your field, develop technical and professional skills, and build professional relationships and expand your network. You will also gain insights into your chosen industry and potential career paths, and increase your chances of securing a further placement or graduate opportunity at Kier or elsewhere.
Requirements- Students undertaking a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Ability to join us on an 8-week placement across July - August.
- Returning to university upon completion of your placement.
