About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Bench Craftsman to join our team at Optima UK Inc Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality point of sale units and displays, working closely with our production manager to bring projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacture bespoke and unique point of sale designs, following technical drawings and specifications
• Install and shop fit on-site, with projects ranging from 1 to 7 or 8 per month
• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment, adhering to health and safety standards
• Ensure high-quality standards are met, with attention to detail and precision
• Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and deliver projects on time
• Stay organized and manage projects with flexibility, including working overtime as needed

Requirements:

• Time served as a Bench Craftsman or Cabinet Maker
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Experience with shopfitting and site installation
• Knowledge of the point of sale/retail display industry
• Strong teamwork ethic and good communication skills
