Salary: £33,000-£35,000 base salary (OTE £46,000+)
Hours: Monday-Friday + Door to Door Paid + Overtime @ 1.5x

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled electromechanical engineer to join our client's engineering team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for attending breakdowns, servicing, and installations on industrial cleaning equipment within a 1-hour radius of your area.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Attend breakdowns, service, and installations on industrial cleaning equipment.
  2. Use manual hand tools, electrical hand tools, lifting equipment, and hot working tools to carry out repairs and maintenance.
  3. Carry out electrical, electronic, and mechanical fault finding and repairs on industrial cleaning equipment, IG Engines (Petrol, Diesel, LPG).

Requirements:

  1. Electrical, electrical, and/or mechanical fault finding, repair, and service experience would be advantageous.
  2. A good level of electrical or mechanical knowledge; similar roles could include plant engineer, maintenance engineer, hydraulic engineer, pneumatic engineer, mechanical fitter.
  3. Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering - not essential but would be an advantage.
  4. Experience using electrical and mechanical tools.
  5. Previous experience as a mechanical, electrical, or field-based engineer. Any experience surrounding Industrial Batteries, IC Engines, or Industrial floor cleaning would be advantageous.
