Cleaner Position at The Deaf Academy
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our dedicated team of cleaners at The Deaf Academy in Exmouth. As a cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our students and staff.
About the Role
This permanent position involves working 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09:00-13:00. You will be responsible for cleaning designated areas of the Academy site, following Health & Safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning Operations: Clean allocated areas of the Academy site, adhering to Health & Safety guidelines.
- Cleaning Supplies: Safely use chemicals and cleaning materials as instructed by the Cleaning Supervisor, following Health and Safety guidelines and using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Various Tasks: Vacuum clean hard and soft floors, spot clean spillages, wipe furniture, skirting's, ledges, pipes, paintwork, doors, and polish door glass, empty and clean bins (including taking to the external bin area), clean windows at a low level, clean toilets, changing rooms, and bathrooms, including sanitary fittings, mop and spray clean hard floor surfaces.
