Job Summary:

Connect Driver Solutions, a leading driving and transport recruitment agency, is seeking experienced Class 1 Day Shift Drivers to join our team. As a Class 1 Day Shift Driver, you will be responsible for operating Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently, performing regular vehicle checks, and complying with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
  • Conduct regular vehicle checks to ensure safety and compliance
  • Adhere to Working Time Directive (WTD), driver hours, and rest periods

Requirements:

  • Valid Category C+E licence (LGV 1/HGV 1)
  • Minimum 6 months' experience with Class 1 vehicles
  • Valid CPC and Digi cards
  • Desirable: HIAB, ADR, ECT licences
  • No more than six points on your licence, with no DD, CD, DR, IN, or TT codes accepted
