About the Role:

We are recruiting for an experienced Arborist to provide a professional arboricultural service in respect of the maintenance of Council owned trees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake all aspects of arboriculture and forestry, with particular emphasis on climbing and high-level tree work operations to industry standards.
  • Work as a lead climber and assist with the activities of a small team of arboricultural staff.
  • Ensure tasks are carried out safely, efficiently, competently, and to a high standard.
  • Survey/inspect trees using relevant software.

Requirements:

  • Relevant NPTC Units (Level 3 awards CS30, CS31, CS32, CS35, CS38, CS39, CS40 or equivalent).
  • Full driving license.
  • Minimum 2 years' arboricultural experience.
  • Physically capable to climb trees to a great height.
