MFL ECT Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate MFL ECT to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust. As a key member of our educational community, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences for our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Develop and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students, promoting academic excellence and personal growth.
  • Student Progress and Assessment: Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records of academic performance and providing constructive feedback to support student development.
  • Classroom Environment: Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters a sense of community and respect among students, staff, and parents.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with school management, teaching staff, and parents to provide exceptional academic support and promote a culture of excellence.
  • School Events and Activities: Participate in school-related events, performances, and parent-teacher meetings, demonstrating a commitment to the school's values and ethos.
  • Safeguarding and Welfare: Adhere to safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all students, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Classroom Management: Employ effective classroom management strategies to maintain an orderly and productive learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Hold QTS or equivalent, with a degree in a relevant field and a recognized teaching qualification.
  • Teaching Experience: Possess excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and students.
  • Curriculum Knowledge: Have a sound understanding of the national curriculum and its application in the classroom.
  • Adaptability: Be able to adapt teaching styles to accommodate different learning styles and needs.
  • Passion for Teaching: Demonstrate a genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to making a positive impact on students' lives.
