About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a challenging role in our manufacturing plant. As an Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our equipment and processes.

  • Estimated salary: £38,000 - £50,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out routine maintenance tasks on a variety of equipment, including bespoke machinery
  • Developing and implementing effective maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failure and reduce downtime
  • Collaborating with production operatives and technicians to optimize workflows and improve productivity
  • Reporting all equipment failures and suggesting corrective actions to the Engineering Manager
  • Assisting with installations of new equipment and tools as required
  • Providing general maintenance support across the site
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants should have:

  • Experience working with electrical components or electronics
  • Mechanical engineering experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • A solid understanding of industrial electrical circuits
  • The ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Previous experience with machines such as lathes and mills
  • Familiarity with electronic engineering principles
  • A full UK driving license
