Company Overview: Our client is a leading manufacturer of aerostructures for commercial airplanes, defence platforms, and business jets. They are currently seeking skilled operatives to support their ramp-up activity, including their award-winning composite wing programme.

Salary: £31,021.64 per annum (£16.57 per hour) with the potential to earn up to £42,000 per annum by working overtime and shifts.

Job Description: As an Aircraft Fitter, you will be responsible for checking kit parts to drawing schedules, manufacturing aerospace hardware to a high standard, and maintaining a safe working environment. You will receive initial product training and will work on various shifts, including overtime as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications: A recognised mechanical engineering apprenticeship or relevant qualification, such as City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 or NVQ Level 3 in a mechanical engineering discipline. Four years' experience in a skilled role is also required. Aircraft-fitting experience is not essential, as full training will be provided.
