About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Visual Merchandising Director to lead our team and implement global guidelines for visual experience in retail. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in planning, organizing, executing, and supervising projects, as well as solid experience in field visual merchandising and training of store staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop, and coach the local Experience/VM team to implement global guidelines for visual experience in retail, including in-store product presentations and window displays.
  • Ensure all in-store visits and onsite trainings drive key KPIs and contribute to weekly sales targets.
  • Track weekly sales performance and stock cover rates, creating and executing action plans.
  • Collaborate with the P&M team to take proactive measures that enhance the commercial effectiveness of product presentations.
  • Lead VM implementation for store events in close collaboration with the CTC manager.
  • Oversee all local training seasonal kickoffs in partnership with local RD and the global retail team.
  • Manage all concept and visual experience aspects during new store openings or renovations at the local level.
  • Ensure premium execution of stores and windows while managing the local VM P&L, including monitoring the VM team's T&E spend to stay within the allocated budget.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of leading and training a visual merchandising team in a premium fashion brand environment.
  • Proven track record in planning, organizing, executing, and supervising projects.
  • Solid experience in field visual merchandising, and training of store staff.
  • High level of communication skills, engaging and inspiring personality that fosters a learning store fleet.
  • Great collaboration skills that entail multiple reporting structures, a sense of accountability, delivery on deadlines as well as a flexible approach to business needs, and the ability to be a change agent.
  • Great leadership skills with a focus on development, clarity on objectives.
