Job Overview

KM Recruitment is a specialist UK-wide recruiter, focusing on the Skills and Employability sectors.

We are seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to transition into a rewarding career in the training industry, supporting Apprentices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver full Apprenticeship Standards in Early Years Childcare up to Level 5, along with Functional Skills to level 2.
  • Manage a caseload of learners, conducting remote and face-to-face observations to gather evidence towards their Apprenticeships.
  • Efficiently manage your diary to ensure timely reviews and completions.
  • Support learners through the End Point Assessment Process.
  • Organize and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
  • Support, advise, and motivate learners.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner needs.
  • Meet Assessor KPIs in terms of timely visits, reviews, learner progression, quality paperwork, and general administration.
Requirements
  1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Nursery Manager.
  2. Holding a Level 2 English and Maths or GCSE equivalents.
  3. Ideal possession of a Level 5 qualification in Early Years Childcare.
  4. Experience in delivering on-the-job training to staff would be highly desirable.
  5. Strong organisational skills and ability to plan time effectively.
  6. Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
  7. Possession of a full, clean, UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
  8. Flexibility with travel is essential.

The salary range for this position is £29,400 - £33,600, dependent on qualifications and experience.
