Job Description:

As a key member of our warehouse team, you will play a vital role in assembling customer orders with precision and speed. This involves using our radio data terminal (RDT) to ensure accurate picking and packing of products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble customer orders from the order profile with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Utilize the radio data terminal (RDT) to streamline the picking process.
  • Ensure the correct amount of product is picked and built correctly and safely onto pallets in line with warehouse procedures.
  • Stretch, wrap, and complete orders as required, presenting them to the marshalling area for further processing.
  • Meet performance targets as outlined in our KPIs.
  • Deliver client-specific order requirements as instructed.
  • Adhere to clean-as-you-go policies, focusing on recycling and waste management.
  • Use personal protective equipment correctly and report any health, safety, and welfare incidents to site management.
  • Participate in additional warehouse duties, such as marshalling, cleaning, loading, goods-in, pallet checking, as assigned by supervisors or managers.

Requirements:

  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Operate mobile equipment required to meet operational needs.
  • Possess a reasonable level of verbal and numerical reasoning.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a team.
  • Embrace adaptability in training and be willing to learn new skills.
  • Exhibit a conscientious and reliable attitude.
  • Display a positive working attitude.
  • Prior experience in a similar environment is desirable but not essential.
  • Hold a FLT licence (Reach essential, counterbalance desirable).
