About the Job

We are looking for a highly skilled Transport Planning Team Lead to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth through innovative solutions and exceptional client service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing a talented team of transport planners, ensuring they deliver high-quality work to clients across various sectors. With a strong background in transport planning and experience in leading teams, you will be able to drive business growth and expansion into new markets and sectors.

You will be an expert in transport planning, with a deep understanding of transport planning principles, policies, and best practices. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to present complex information to stakeholders at all levels, while your self-motivation and proactive approach will ensure that you meet your targets and exceed expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop a team of transport planners, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their full potential.
  • Lead on project delivery, working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and effective project outcomes.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and expansion into new markets and sectors.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners, ensuring exceptional service delivery and reputation management.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in transport planning, with a proven track record of leading teams and delivering projects.
  • Strong understanding of transport planning principles, policies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a results-driven approach.
