Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Advanced Physiotherapist Practitioner to join our team at Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the clinical delivery and leadership of the Inpatient Stroke and Neurology physiotherapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- To take the lead role in the clinical delivery and leadership of the Inpatient Stroke and Neurology physiotherapy services.
- To provide a physiotherapy assessment and treatment service at an advanced level for patients who have been admitted to hospital via a neurological pathway and patients with a range of neurological conditions.
- To work as a key member of the MDT, in the management of neurological patients admitted to hospital.
- To lead in supervision, support, teaching and appraisal of physiotherapy staff and students, within the speciality.

Person Specification:
Essential:

- Knowledge of current best practice in neurology physiotherapy
