Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook Manager to join our team at Sodexo. As a key member of our food service operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that our food and beverage services meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
  • Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our customers.
  • Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to meet our food service needs.
  • Monitor and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that our food service operations are integrated with other aspects of our business.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in food service operations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
