Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Early Years Foundation Stage Teacher to join our team at GSL Education. As an EYFS Teacher, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging science curriculum to students, utilizing a range of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Science Curriculum: Create and implement science curriculum that is engaging, age-appropriate, and meets the needs of diverse learners.
  • Deliver High-Quality Science Instruction: Utilize a range of teaching methods to deliver high-quality science instruction, accommodating different learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess Student Progress: Design and implement assessments to gauge students' understanding and progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to guide their learning.
  • Support Diverse Learners: Identify and address the diverse learning needs of students by providing extra support or enrichment opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Collaborate with other science teachers and faculty members to align teaching strategies, share resources, and develop interdisciplinary projects that integrate science with other subjects.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: PGCE with QTS or other UK recognized teaching qualification.
  • Experience: EYFS teaching experience in the last 2 years is essential.
  • Skills: Strong command of the curriculum and good behavior management skills.
  • Commitment: Be committed to child protection, safeguarding, and pupil welfare.
  • DBS: Hold a Child Only DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education.
