Role:

As a Tax Compliance Specialist at AVASK Accounting & Business Consultants, you will be responsible for managing a team and providing high-level VAT advice to stakeholders across the business to mitigate any tax risks.

You will provide clients with pragmatic commercial support to meet and manage their tax obligations across the ever-changing tax landscape.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the relationship with tax authorities and partners across Europe in relation to all VAT matters.
  • Preparing and performing a first-level review of the quarterly VAT tax returns and Annual adjustment.
  • Assisting clients with VAT audits and compliance checks.
  • Working with, and where required, providing training to, the Accounts teams to ensure a strong control environment persists with well-mapped out, and monitored, processes that drive core outputs.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in VAT/Accountancy/Finance department and hold a relevant and recognised ATT / CTA / Tax Law or Law Degree. Excellent verbal and writing skills are also essential.
