The successful Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for diagnosing faults, testing, repairing, and maintaining Mechanical equipment, as well as completing Planned Preventative Maintenance as directed by Engineering Management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical engineering, with experience in the FMCG industry and a proven track record of fault finding and responding to breakdowns promptly.

The role offers a competitive salary of up to £45,000 per annum, a Monday to Friday, days role, with 40 hours per week, and a permanent position with opportunities for overtime and a bonus.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Diagnosing faults and testing, repairing, and maintaining Mechanical equipment
  • Completing Planned Preventative Maintenance as directed by Engineering Management
  • Fault finding and responding to breakdowns promptly
  • Completing breakdown and maintenance records for all work undertaken on site
  • Participating in meetings, supervision, and training as requested

Requirements include:

  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Experience within the FMCG industry
  • Electrical knowledge
  • Experienced working with packaging machines

Commutable from Market Drayton, Wem, Telford, Newport, Nantwich, Oswestry, Shrewsbury, Crewe, Stoke, and Congleton.
