SEMH Tutor Needed

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to provide one-to-one support to secondary school age students in Redcar.

The successful candidate will possess a solid understanding of the UK National Curriculum and be able to deliver personalised tutoring sessions in English, Science, or Maths.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored lessons for individual students or small groups
  • Track and document student progress and performance in a timely manner
  • Develop and deliver lessons that cater to the needs of students with SEMH and challenging behaviour

Requirements:

  • Hold a current DBS that is on the update service or be willing to apply for one
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in an educational setting
  • Experience of working with students with SEN needs
