Experienced Children's Home Manager

Perfect Personnel Ltd is seeking an experienced Children's Home Manager to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the children's home, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, and leading a team of care staff.
About the Children's Home:
The home provides a nurturing and safe environment for young people aged 8-18, promoting positive relationships and individual care plans tailored to each resident. The Children's Home Manager will work closely with families, social workers, and external agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for the children in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the children's home, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for residents.
- Lead and mentor a team of care staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care.
- Develop and implement individual care plans, working closely with residents, families, and external agencies.
- Collaborate with families, social workers, and external agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for children in our care.
- Oversee staff training and development, ensuring a skilled and motivated team.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a residential care setting.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Valid driving license required.
- Enhanced DBS check on the update service.
- Knowledge of child development and safeguarding practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
