Performance Sport Strength and Conditioning Coach

Bournemouth University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strength and Conditioning Coach to join our Performance Sport programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, and reviewing the Strength and Conditioning programme within SportBU. They will also have specific responsibility for growing and developing the S&C internship programme.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in creating programmes designed to improve sporting athletes' technical and physical performance. They will be highly organised, personable, and willing to develop their own skills and knowledge. This role will involve coaching on a daily basis and working with a range of sporting athletes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and review the Strength and Conditioning programme within SportBU
- Grow and develop the S&C internship programme
- Work with a range of sporting athletes to improve their technical and physical performance
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Strength and Conditioning coaching
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective training programmes

This position is available as a term-time-only appointment for 25 hours per week for 35 working weeks.
