Special Needs Teaching Assistant

Our organization aims to enhance the quality of education for young people with Special Education Needs (SEN) and Disabilities (SEND) in Lincolnshire. We achieve this by providing flexible and holistic trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring through our team of SEN tutors.
As an SEN tutor, your primary responsibility will be to plan and deliver engaging sessions that cater to the diverse needs of each young person. You will work closely with our SEN Support Team to ensure successful placements and collaborate with local authorities and schools to refer students to our services.
About This Opportunity- Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs
- Conduct regular lesson reports and provide constructive feedback on progress
- Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain expertise
- Hold a Professional Teaching Qualification (QTS / QTLS)
- At least 2 years of teaching experience
- Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs
- Enhanced DBS (support available)
- Two professional references
£28,000 - £38,000 per year based on qualifications and experience
