About the Role:

Award-winning Aldwych Consulting LTD is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Design Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Civil Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating innovative and sustainable engineering solutions for various projects across the UK. You will work closely with the team to deliver exceptional results and contribute to the company's mission of excellence in action.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Producing engineering designs throughout the project lifecycle, including planning applications, detailed designs of drainage, highways, public realm, SUDS, and building drainage.
  • Preparing highway and drainage designs for private and adoptable works.
  • Creating technical drawings for tender and construction purposes, including 3D modeling software, MicroDrainage, and AutoCAD.
  • Applying design codes and standards like Manual for Streets, SuDS Manual, and more.

About You:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Civil Design Engineer who possesses a strong background in consultancy or private sector development, with a proficiency in preparing highway and drainage designs for private and adoptable works. You should have a HNC or BEng in Civil Engineering and excellent interpersonal skills, a team-oriented attitude, effective organizational and communication abilities, and a proactive, strategic, and analytical problem-solving approach.
