Job Overview

As a Talent Manager at OTG, you'll be responsible for independently managing a roster of approximately 6 talented individuals, supporting senior team members in scouting and signing new talent, and developing ambitious strategies that drive long-term, sustainable careers. You'll also forecast revenue targets, pitch and secure commercial partnerships, and proactively identify opportunities for your talent to diversify their careers and revenue streams into various areas of media and entertainment.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Independently manage a roster of 6 emerging to established talent, providing them with best-in-class service to support their careers.
  2. Support senior team members in scouting and signing new talent to the roster, ensuring a diverse range of skills and expertise.
  3. Develop and implement ambitious but realistic strategies for your talent, focusing on impactful, commercial, and sustainable career growth.
  4. Forecast monthly and annual revenue targets for your talent, aiming to increase revenue year-on-year through strategic partnerships and business development.
  5. Pitch, negotiate, and secure commercial partnerships and revenue-driving career opportunities for your talent, leveraging your expertise and network to drive growth.
  6. Proactively identify opportunities for your talent to diversify their careers and revenue streams into other areas of media and entertainment, such as publishing, product development, podcasting, licensing, broadcast, and live events.
  7. Negotiate deals and contracts for your talent to a high standard, ensuring fair compensation and favorable terms.
  8. Build and maintain relationships with key agencies, brands, and third parties on behalf of your talent and the wider roster.
  9. Provide your talent with advice and insight on content strategies, helping them create high-quality content that drives growth and engagement.
  10. Anticipate potential challenges or roadblocks related to your talent and projects, preparing and mitigating them in advance to ensure successful outcomes.
  11. Manage and guide junior team members to handle tasks for your talent, including commercial content scheduling, diary management, and client coordination.
  12. Represent OTG's values and high standards when interacting with clients, partners, and industry professionals, both internally and externally.


About You

We're seeking an experienced and motivated individual with a minimum of 2-3 years in the talent management industry. You should have a deep understanding of the latest developments in talent management, social media, and entertainment, with the ability to use this knowledge to benefit your talent. A proven track record of generating new business, securing commercial partnerships, and upselling is essential. You must also possess excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as strong relationship-building abilities.
