Job Title: Divisional Performance Analyst

Becoming part of our team as a Divisional Performance Analyst means taking responsibility for evaluating spend and reviewing trends to maintain industry knowledge. You'll get a competitive salary of £52,000 - £62,000 based on your experience, working closely with our team at Broster Buchanan.

Job Description

You will use your skills in financial analysis and problem-solving to review expenditure and monitor turnover to highlight any gaps in budget attainment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    1. Compile reports detailing evaluation of spend by division against budgets and forecasts.
    2. Review project summaries to identify underperforming or overperforming projects.
    3. Analyze business performance against company metrics, focusing on deviations from targets.
    4. Manage financial data collection and organization from various sources.
  • Trends Review:
    1. Identify trends and gaps in turnover secured and unsecured to recommend strategies for improving performance.
    2. Monitor subcontractor spend and track changes against initial budgets.
    3. Analyze spend patterns using external market data to inform future planning.
    4. Highlight opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
  • Industry Insights:
    1. Stay informed about market developments and trends affecting the industry.
    2. Develop expertise on key clients and suppliers, enhancing our business relationships.
    3. Identify and mitigate potential market risks facing the business.
  • Modelling & Reporting:
    1. Create financial models for budgeting and forecasting to improve divisional management.
    2. Enhance cash flow analysis to address specific project needs.
    3. Track WIP and invoicing metrics to optimize cash flow.
    4. Support the development and implementation of strategic reports to drive business success.
    5. Collaborate with divisional leaders to create annual budgets.
