Job Summary

The Fire Door Installation Supervisor is responsible for the effective coordination and delivery of fire door installation projects. This includes managing installation teams, coordinating with clients, vendors, and suppliers, and ensuring that installations meet company standards and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Project Management:
    Oversee and manage fire door installation projects from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
  2. Team Leadership:
    Lead and supervise a team of fire door installers, ensuring they are equipped, trained, and supported to complete installations safely and efficiently.
  3. Quality Control:
    Ensure all installations meet company quality standards and customer expectations.
  4. Health & Safety:
    Ensure all safety protocols are followed on-site to maintain a safe work environment.
  5. Client Relations:
    Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing any questions, concerns, or changes in project scope.
  6. Inventory & Resources:
    Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of fire doors, hardware, and materials.
  7. Reporting & Documentation:
    Prepare and maintain accurate records of installations, including schedules, inspections, and any changes in scope.

Qualifications & Skills

  1. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in fire door installation, construction management, or a related field. Previous leadership or managerial experience is highly preferred.
  2. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of fire door installation processes, tools, and materials.
  3. Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, manage conflict, and provide training and support.
  4. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  5. Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  6. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project conditions.
  7. Safety Awareness: Thorough knowledge of health and safety regulations in the construction or installation industry.

Working Conditions

Environment: This role involves working in both office and on-site environments. Frequent travel to job sites is required.
