Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Team Lead to join our team at GXO Logistics, Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse operatives, coordinating their activities to meet set objectives, and taking charge in the absence of the Shift Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring they are trained and developed to meet the needs of the business.
  • Investigate and resolve warehouse operations issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensure correct processes are being followed across all departments, including Picking, Goods in, Packing, Dispatch, and Loading.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of warehouse operations and systems.
Requirements
  • Experience in leading a team within a fast-paced operation of FMCG, from goods in to despatch.
  • Proven track record of managing a small team to achieve agreed targets.
  • Well-versed in warehouse management systems.
  • Good working knowledge of current health and safety and compliance legislation.
