Job Title: Histology Laboratory Associate - Late Shift

As a key member of our Histology team at IDEXX, you will play a vital role in processing tissue samples for diagnostic evaluation by our team of Veterinary Pathologists. You will be responsible for embedding, microtomy, staining, and special staining techniques in your daily work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process tissue samples for our Pathologists
  • Conduct grossing, embedding, microtomy, staining, and special staining techniques
  • Set up and run lab tests, results according to SOPs
  • Monitor inventory of supplies, equipment, and reagents used
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient processes
Requirements:
  • BSc in Biology/Biomedical Science/Animal Science/Zoology or equivalent
  • Passion for science, innovation, and global pet health
  • Experience working in a laboratory, setting up, running, and reading lab tests
  • Operating laboratory equipment (microscopes and/or clinical diagnostic analyzers) is a plus
Work Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday, 2:00pm to 10:30pm
  • Reliable and dependable attendance is essential
