Job Description

About the Role

This full-time, permanent position offers the successful candidate the chance to work in collaboration with a supportive team of educators and contribute to the overall success of the school. As a Nursery Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the requirements of the Nursery curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons that meet the requirements of the Nursery curriculum.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages social and emotional development.
  • Provide individualized support to students based on their unique needs and abilities.
  • Collaborate with other educators and professionals to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' achievements and behavior.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, ensuring a strong partnership between home and school.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, with a focus on Early Years Foundation Stage (Nursery) or equivalent.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Nursery curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment for young children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to effectively plan and deliver lessons.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to supporting students' learning and development.

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per year
