Teach Mathematics in a Portsmouth Secondary School

We are currently supporting GSL Education - Hampshire to appoint a Mathematics Teacher for their Key Stage 3 & 4 students. The school prioritises positive relationships to support students' academic and personal development.

Responsibilities
  1. Deliver maths lessons aligned with the school's curriculum standards, ensuring that students are well-prepared for assessments and future academic challenges.
  2. Implement teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
  3. Utilise innovative teaching methods, incorporating technology and real-world applications to make math relevant and engaging for students.
  4. Regularly assess student progress, providing feedback to support their academic growth. Collaborate with colleagues to analyse assessment data and refine teaching practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Teaching certification in Mathematics.
  • PGCE/QTS/QTLS.
  • Previous experience of teaching mathematics at the secondary level is preferred.
