At Oxford Knight, we're looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our quantitative sports trading team. As a pragmatic data engineer, you'll be responsible for evolving, improving, and maintaining all aspects of our sports trading data platform. This includes building a world-class data backbone, creating and maintaining ETL pipelines, and identifying ways to improve reliability, efficiency, and data quality. Our team works closely with technologists and quantitative analysts, and we're looking for someone who is passionate about solving difficult technical problems in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
  • Collaborate with the quantitative analytics team to develop and maintain data models and algorithms.
  • Work with the technology team to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and quality of the data platform.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize the data platform.
Requirements
  • Significant experience with Python and development in a Linux environment.
  • Experience working with large datasets and data warehouses.
  • Deep knowledge of the DMBS landscape and data modeling principles.
  • Experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines and data pipelines.
